Sendoff for a Snitch, the fourth in the Jesse Damon Crime Novel series, was recently released as an e-book by Musa Publishing.

After nearly twenty years in prison on a murder conviction, Jesse has been released on parole. He’s determined to beat the odds and make it on the street. He knows that as a convicted violent felon, he is going to meet challenges.

He manages to find a one room basement apartment, a decent job on the midnight to eight shift in a steel fabrication plant, and a few people who treat him like a regular person, not a paroled con. Especially Kelly, a woman who works the same shift as a forklift driver.

Mindful of his parole restrictions, dead broke and aware that many people will not be willing to give him a chance, he tries to keep a low profile. But people keep getting killed around him, and the cops figure he’s a natural suspect. At times they aren’t fussy about the methods they use to support their suspicions.

In Sendoff for a Snitch, the entire city of Rothsburg has been declared a disaster site due to flooding. At the height of the emergency, Aaron, a confidential police informant, is found floating dead in the stairwell leading to Jesse’s apartment.

Read Jesse Damon’s stories. They are not only different from the norm, they are grittily real.
